DPTV REBRAND

Detroit Public Television aims to adhere to their vision statement as much as possible, which is to educate, entertain, and inspire. Of these three goals, the primary focus of DPTV is to educate.

These themes are carried throughout the rebrand. In the new DPTV logo, the V stands for exactly what it does in the acronym; vision. However, within that V, there are three points. Each of these points stand for Education, Entertainment, and Inspiration. Without these three points, the vision of DPTV would not be possible.

The system works through 3 concepts:
1. Discovery - it is through discovery that people are able to learn
2. Layers - Building, separating, or searching through layers is how people discover new things and become educated
3. V - the Vision of DPTV, which is made up of three points
